Subha is a human rights lawyer with over 7 years’ experience of supporting victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. She has an Advanced Master’s degree in Public International Law with a specialization in Peace, Justice and Development from Leiden University.
She is also the founder and CEO of MSAAW Foundation, an NGO based in India that works on trauma-informed and victim-centric reforms for victims of sexual and gender-based violence. Subha and her team have assisted womxn across India access legal and mental health support. She has appeared in various national media platforms and has also been a speaker at international forums like the TEDx. Subha is also a community advisor for Freedom Collaborative, an organization that works on addressing human trafficking.
In her spare team she mentors women and girls on various educational projects. She was a professional tennis player and high-school footballer.
