About

The Sporting Chance Forum will be held on 21st and 22nd November in Geneva. As the Centre’s annual flagship event, the Sporting Chance Forum serves as a powerful opportunity to discuss the key human rights issues, and their solutions, that exist across the world of sport. Building on the success of last year's Forum, which brought together over 300 delegates at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, a diverse range of actors in the world of sport will gather this year at the Palais des Nations.

This year's Forum will be co-hosted by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) – both founding members of the Centre – as well as the UN Office in Geneva (UNOG). The programme will explore how different actors in the world of sport can use their individual and collective leverage to achieve a world of sport that fully respects human rights. We will feature compelling case studies showing progress made, challenges that remain, and practical solutions for all parties to improve respect for human rights in sport.
